Wow, we've had a great week of posts with lively conversations. If you haven't already, be sure to check out Heather McKenzie's "What are you Pro?", Suza Francina's debut "Who can tell us more about the new fence along Pratt Trail?", evan austin's "Four years at war..." and Kira Ryder's offering, "Farm Party" for some engaging dialogue.

And traffic is huge - yesterday The Ojai Post welcomed 2,100 visitors and 4,286 page views. Of course, the majority of our traffic is from California, but in the last week alone, we've had visitors from 85 countries, including Vietnam, Syria, Kenya, El Salvador and Sri Lanka to name a few. Thanks, Ojai and beyond!

Golden State Water was not
prepared but rather blown out of the water (sorry) by the community response and turnout at this first meeting at Chapparrel Auditorium. Ojai is ready for it's own municipal water
company, but probably should
not seat members of the city council and planning
commission on it's board.

?Where can I get more info on the meeting? I'll be listening to any post on the topic. When you think about it, it is surprising Ojai hasn't started the process along time ago. In any event I hope Ojai does.

This would be a great time for the City Council to show great leadership and take on the task.

For as long as someone else can get money and not improve our water quality (the worse quality in the state), they will.
