Helicopters Overhead

You may have heard the helicopters overhead from approximately 1:30pm - 2:30pm. The unconfirmed news is that there was a burglary on or near Crestview, off Bristol. Police are still searching for an Hispanic boy, approximately 14 years old, who committed the burglary.

OMG you have to love Ojai, but not the small town supposition! I work very near the bike path. I heard at least four different versions of why the ghetto bird (there was only one) was out and about. What I heard was:

1. Two junior high school kids broke into a house off the bike path and the alarm went off. The police caught one and were searching for the other one.

2. Two Hispanic males, one an apprehended adult, the second a minor still at large, had robbed the Bank. The police were searching for the minor at large. (I laughed at the terminology- is minor at large an oxymoron?)

3. Two Hispanic junior high schoolers were stealing mothers' purses in Libbey Park. The police caught one and were still searching the river bottom behind HELP of Ojai for the other one.

4. The police are searching for an armed teenager.

I hope none of the above is true.

According to Captain Norris, a suspect was picked up. He was behind Vons somewhere, hiding under a trailer.

According to alot of gossip, Tucker DeAlba broke into Alec Stallings house that day.
