New Year's Manifestation
25 years ago when Katie and I were first married, we started a New Year’s tradition that we’ve kept up over the years. We take a little time each day, for the first couple of weeks of the new year, to focus on manifestation. To me, manifestation has two key parts: 1. Appreciating and savoring your life as it is right now, and 2. setting in motion the forces that will attract into your life new experiences you’d like to enjoy.
So, we sit down each day for a few minutes or an hour in the first part of January, to appreciate our lives and to start the attraction process that will draw new experiences into our lives. In years past we’ve usually ended up with a short list of 5-10 new things we want to manifest during the year. They can be real-world things like paying off the mortgage on our house or getting tree-surgery for some of the 300-year-old oaks on our property, or they might be less tangible things like finding new ways to stay in touch with our farflung family.
One of our best manifestation requests from 6 years ago: To find the perfect home. We found a great place in Maui, made an offer on it, then had an inspiration: Let's look one more time in Ojai before we move to Maui. The magic worked, and ever since then we've been happily ensconced in our dream home in the best place in the world.

Thanks for this, and welcome to the post! Could this be "Conscious Blogging"? ;)

I'll try to keep it conscious--no guarantees!
