Erotic Wind Damage

Last night about 8pm, a gigantic eucalyptus limb came down in our backyard, narrowly missing just about everything worth saving. Forty inches in circumference, the limb broke off about 60 feet up, right near where another limb broke off about a year ago. What was amazing was how it was funneled down through a sycamore tree and wedged tight. It is a rather erotic arrangement and interaction between two trees. A couple more photos after the jump.

I didn't think eucalyptus and sycamore were capable of intercourse but these pictures prove it!
