interesting video, and certainly quite rocking, but i’m afraid i dont get it. i’m afraid of americans too, but i wish there were more lyrical lines to this song to help me put together a more solid idea than just a chorusey few lines repeated over and over and over…

Thanks Mike. You just made my day. What a perfect statement to end the old year. I sent it to my 13 year old son. He’s approaching draft age but thank god, he has dual citizenship, and can opt for Holland. America has become a disgrace, and that includes the usually silent majority like me. This summer I enjoyed the Bowie imitators at Libbey Bowl. What a blast! Thanks to the up tight Ojai leaders, we may not have those kind of concerts in 2007. I’m an American and I’m afraid of America. We don’t have any idea of how corrupt the American elites are. The truth is that they totally pulled off 9/11, and made a joke of it by doing it on the date that corresponds with the emergency number 911. It’s all for money. Capitalism, wealthism, moneyism, etc. is the root of all our ills. Moneyism is the cause of racism and sexism. I’m accused of preaching and diatribes. If I had talent like David Bowie, I’d do what he does. He speaks truth. The Ojai oligarchs differ from the Washington beltlanders only in degree. They want to turn Ojai into Anywhere America just to make a cheap buck. Well, we’re all infected with the disease of moneyism, and we should be deadly afraid of Americana, the main carrier. Enough. I feel better getting it off my chest.

You forgot one: you’re afraid to show your face – but not your ignorance at least.
ps your last fear begins with an x.
