Ballot Initiatives and Provisional Ballots, oh my…

And…
The judge in the case against Jeff Furtchtenicht has ruled a demur (make legal objection: to admit the facts of an opposing argument, but object that those facts alone are not by themselves adequate to make the case.
The case has no merit. Dismissed.

Lisa – where does it say “Official Final Results”? Looks to me like “approximately 5,200 Provisional Ballots remain to be processed County wide.”

I’m not certain how much the city was charged for the services. The information may not be discoverable under the Brown Act guidelines and it is also possible that he is on retainer.
