Introduction / greetings

Greetings!
As Shakespeare never said:
Now is the summer of our discontent made glorious autumn . . .
And a glorious autumn it is.
I've lived in Ojai for several years, sometimes making sojourns to distant lands like Poland (to teach English), Panama (to take photos), and Gettysburg -- where I recently wrote a play called "Christmas on the Mason-Dixon Line."
I'm hoping to produce the play at one of the theaters in Ojai.
Because Ojai is a town with few big-city distractions, I've been able to more quickly bring my nonprofit corporation Natural Woman, Natural Man, Inc. out of relative obscurity into the light of day.
It took only eight years to finally start getting tax-deductible donations, most of them toward the eBook "Spontaneous Creation: 101 Reasons Not to Have Your Baby in a Hospital, vol. 1."
http://www.SpontaneousCreation.org
The nonprofit advocates natural fertility (sprouts instead of drugs), natural childbirth, natural infant feeding (breastfeeding instead of so-called "formula"), natural immunity (nutrition vs. vaccination), natural remedies for disease (herbs vs. drugs), and organic agriculture.
There's a lot more, but I'll save it for another post.
Thanks for having me, and I look forward to your comments.
Sincerely,
Jock Doubleday

Welcome to Ojai Post! I can't wait to check out your eBook. All of the natural parenting/birthing topics you mention are very close to my heart and the belief system of my family. Our daughter was born at home, and both of our kids were breastfed for 2+ years, cloth diapered, minimal or no vaccinations, fed homemade organic babyfood, herbal and homeopathic medicines, etc. We also tried to have our first baby at home but he decided to be born at the hospital after 34 hours of labor. I'm always trying to learn more about herbs and nutrition. My latest nutritional passions are raw dairy and kombucha. I look forward to your future posts. Be well.

Hey Jock, welcome in, looking forward to trading perspectives - my husband and I made the decision not to have children (reason #101: they become teenagers)! Have fun on the Post!

well met, Jock!
may the voices of all our relations continue to open our ten thousand 'third' eyes -- senses -- for knowing and growing.
gentling, refining, realizing this global rainbow of seven billion most singular colours!
take another deep breath, bro!
