Dennis Leary: Letter To The Editor

Dear Editor:

Democracy is alive and well in Ventura County. My thanks are directed, but not limited to: the Ojai Valley News, Ojai and Ventura Voice, Ventura County Star, Ventura County Reporter, and Ojai Post, for providing frequent, fair, and respectful coverage for all candidates, for the office of Ojai City Council. This is my final "letter to the editor" before the election, November 7th. I thank you, and all participants, on all sides of the issues, for allowing me to share in our mutual service to the cause of a free society. In my political view, the basic issues are fundamentally the same in Ojai, the county, state, nation and world: liberty, power, and democracy, or as our American founders put it: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
