Universal Health Care in California?

See the Video, Then Contact the Governor

i will be screening a short introductory video about SB 840 - the Universal Health Care bill that's on Governor Schwarzenegger's desk right now - at my home on Wednesday September 6 at 7pm. there won't be anyone there from the campaign to answer specific questions, but i'm hoping the video will help us to make a more informed decision and give us something intelligent to say when we contact the Governor.

my address is 210 Grand Avenue, apartment 3. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU'D LIKE TO COME, as i only have room for 10-12 people. email me at superher0@sbcglobal.net if you're coming.

if you've already made up your mind, contact Arnold at Democracy In Action OR, follow the automated response system at 916-445-2841.

Evan, you might try contacting Sid Cohen
E-mail Address(es):
scohn83881@aol.com

Sid has been an active supporter of the bill and is a local semi-retired Ojai insurance broker. Sid has helped give presentations on the bill around town.

thanks, hjs! i've been put in contact with Sid from a couple of different directions now...community at work! my understanding is that the presentation he recently facilitated with/for the Rotary Club of Ojai had technical difficulty and could not get the sound on their video to work. if anyone attended that one and wants to try again, i'm guaranteeing my sound to work!
