Hey, Tyler, I've Got a Paper Clip, Wanna Trade?

Who said blogging can't be profitable? Well, this guy proved them wrong!

One year ago, the 26-year-old blogger from Montreal set out to barter one red paper clip for something and that thing for something else, over and over again until he had a house.

On Wednesday the quest is ending as envisioned: MacDonald is due to become the proud owner of a three-bedroom, 1,100-square-foot home provided by the town of Kipling, Saskatchewan. MacDonald and his girlfriend, Dominique Dupuis, expect to move there in early September.

"This is such a cool community project. It feels right," MacDonald said. "And now that I think about it, I can't believe that another small town didn't think of it. It will literally put them on the map."

Craig's List, here I come!

Actually I'm out of paper clips and its on my errands list. I'll give you a framed painting by a local artist named Campos that was listing in a store for $159.

What's your goal?

World peace. I was hoping to make a trade for world peace. I've got an ab roller on Craig's List right now - maybe I should try to barter for it rather than sell it. Afterall, an ab roller is probably more valuable than a paper clip.

Yeah, I don't need an ab roller, so you're SOL there. :)

But he has to live in SASKATCHEWAN!!!! Yikes!

So I'm guessing he won't have too many takers on the Southern California coast wanting to trade!

My Up Brand 3

Am I the spur on the boot or am I the boot up their arse are these three the stink or are they the fart

Am I the burr the burr that rubs these three hides raw are these three the buzzards am I the crow in their craw

Is it my talk or my 1st. Amendment right are these three their worst enemy that freedom of speech give them fright

Am I the burr the burr that makes these three shiver am I too honest that I can't be bought with gold or silver

Am I the salt the salt that tans these three raw hides or am I the vinegar that puts the sting in their eyes

Am I the branding iron hot on these three asses or am I too honest with my questions of them that I ask

Am I the spur on the boot or am I the boot up their arse are these three in discomfort when I point out they have the horse behind the cart

Accordingly a function of free speech under our system of government is to invite dispute. It may indeed best serve its high purpose when it induces a condition of unrest, creates dissatisfaction with conditions as they are, or even stirs people to anger. Speech is often provocative and challenging. It may strike at prejudices and preconceptions and have profound unsettling effects as it presses for acceptance of an idea. (Terminiello v. City of Chicago (1949) 337 U.S. 1, 4-5, 69 S.Ct. 894, 896, 93 L.Ed. 1131)

The Brown Act specifically provides that this council/board may “not prohibit public criticism of the policies, procedures, programs, or services of the agency, or of the acts or omissions of this council/board.” (California Government Code §54954.3(c).)

Carroll Dean Williams: You need help. You are not in touch with the reality about you. Before you do something that can hurt you and others, you need to to seek help today. Call your doctor and tell your doctor what is going on. I'm very concerned for you.

Dear Fellow Concerned Citizen:

I do everything in MY OWN NAME.

Citizen's that do NOT DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR OWN NAME needs all the help they can get.

Apparently, one "citizen's needs" all the help they can get with proper grammar as well. Are you saying, Carroll, that you are instigating a citizen's arrest against Carlon Strobel because she in some way is prohibiting public criticism? Some clarity would be much appreciated, because after half a dozen posts, I still don't have a clue as to what you are talking about.
