The Truth Just Got More Convenient!

ok, i can only come up with witty ways to promote this film for so long.....

*“An Inconvenient Truth” to play at Downtown Century 10 Theater in Ventura!*

Yes, it’s finally confirmed, after unnecessarily exhaustive prodding and research: Al Gore’s moving and powerful new documentary about global warming will play in Ventura beginning this coming Friday, June 16. This information was added to the theater’s website just this afternoon. I don’t know how long it will play at the theater, but i know that it’ll last AT LEAST until next Thursday, June 22 (that’s as far as one site was able to project showtimes).
Showtimes are as follows, and appear to be the same every day:

11:25am
1:55pm
4:25pm
7:00pm
9:35pm

The following link takes you to the website for our Century 10 theater, where you can buy tickets online: http://www.fandango.com/theater.asp?chain_id=CENT&theater_id=12004

There has been interest expressed by several groups about choosing one target showtime and going to see the film en masse, but i’m unsure how logistically convenient that is. Century theaters does NOT give group discounts, either.

Please forward this exciting and urgent release to all your lists and contacts....let’s show that Ventura County cares about this issue!

Awesome, evan, thanks. Maybe I'll see you at the late showing. I've already pledged to see it on opening day at http://www.climatecrisis.net/

The film was amazing! Full house, but mostly the already converted. Everyone should go see this and own a copy. The pictures are worth it all by themselves.

I missed opening night - I had scheduled something else to coincide with what I thought would be an 8pm or so showing. Sigh. So hoping to see it tonight or Wednesday. Thanks, evan! (where's your review in a new post? ;)
