Concert At Ojai Retreat

I'm honored to be hosted by the Ojai Healing Circle on June 7th at 6:30pm at the Ojai Retreat. I appreciate all of you who have come in the past to share these intimate house concerts. Through gathering in this way we, as a community, can inspire global unity and peace; within and without.

"May the silence be broken only by music from the heart"
Raymond Powers

From the flyer:

For 20 years Raymond Powers has been a multi-cultural bridge, leading musical meditations to facilitate global unity and peace. Featuring improvised and traditional chants, Native American flute, frame drum, sruti, guitar and zither, these evenings are heartfelt, deep explorations of silence and sound.

river child ...

summer baby born under loving
windswept stars ...

chorus of the greenbranches, rubbing
each other in their frenzied forest dance ...

~~
~~~
this day rediscovered ... sun-sung youth, shooting down the rapids ... crawling back up the airy whitewaters, hand by hand, rock by rock ...
the laughing waters massaging, tickling, cooling, calming ...
awakening a thousand mornings ...
in one heart-stopping, launching ...
only a summer ...
millennium twain
