Prohibition in Ojai?

Welcome to Ojai, now set your clocks back 80 years!

The introduction and first reading of an ordinance prohibiting possession and consumption of alcohol in city parks will serve as item 7 on Tuesday night's Ojai City Council Agenda.

I guess I better think twice before I toss my blanket out onto the lawn for the next concert in Libbey Bowl and leave that bottle of Chardonnay out of the picnic basket. The Council will hear public comment on the subject. The meeting begins at City Hall at 7:30 Tuesday night.
