'Awha'y MoonLight Ride
Children/Elders of all ages ...
join us for the third 'Moonthly' Full-Moon Bicycle Ride,
Saturday, 13 May 2006, starting at 8:30 pm at the Libby Fountain.
A family affair ... costumes encouraged ... and lights for bicycle front and back ...and extra blinking lights and bells and similar wonders!

This photo, by Megumi Tatsuzawa, was taken on-route to the last ride gathering of some thirty gentle spirits.
Look for further details here, or at Farmer & The Cook -- plus announcements to come of the new Bicycle Recycleries being set up in the Valley of "Awha'y Moon. New places to donate bicycles for children, and for anyone who is seeking a low-cost second-hand bicycle. We are also planning more collective-bicycle potlucks and events -- so your ideas for artistic and celebratory bicycle-fests -- or other ways to involve children and elders of all ages in re-discovering the unbounded joy and health of bicycling.
Let this Ojai Post be a sounding board for that happiest of community voices ... rising in harmony and echoing from mountain to mountain ... from Moon to Moon ... of this Chumash valley named Goddess Moon!

Thanks for your initial contribution, Millennium, and I await word of Bicycle Recycleries, as I am in need myself.

We should have a few 're-cycles' cobbled back together by the next Moon flight, Tyler! Else Megumi and I have a few extras to loan to new nite riders ... particularly if you have some blinking lights, small LED flashlights, etc we can strap on the 'flyers' ...
