Organic Fair Trade Coffee Shop in Meiners Oaks

A new coffee shop has just opened at the corner of El Roblar and Maricopa in Meiners Oaks. A young couple, John and Brenda (and their infant daughter Rowan) run the place, which is really cute. A comfortable couch sits in the front window where you can enjoy the paper and a cup of organic, fair trade, shade grown coffee! They are open 5:30 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 6 - 6 Saturday. Go say hello and get yourself a cup of ethically impeccable, delicious coffee!

Coincidence - I just drove by there, stopped in and was just about to post the same! I'm so glad to see this place in MO-town! I had a small decaf mocha and it was delish.

I saw it on my way out of town yesterday. Do they have any munchies? Perhaps a croissant, scone or even a pizza bagel?

Just a small basket of muffins by the register - nothing to get excited about, but it's a start!

And I bet they are open to suggestion! If only there were a great local organic bakery to supply them...Farmer and Cook? Maybe too small and not wanting to spread their wares all over town?

Stopped in yesterday, had a very nice decaf vanilla latte, and learned that they will have, within the next few days, fresh baked goods from The Berry Man. Notably, they will have some wheat-free goodies.

ADDENDUM: They just got their wireless up and running! And the Mayan Mochas are fantastic!

Yay for WiFi!
