Oklahoma Comes To Ojai!
The Nordhoff High School Music Department presents Oklahoma, which runs 3/16-25. If you didn't get to see it last weekend, there is still time. My friend, Matt Haag, will provide a review in the comments section of this post shortly.

This is a review from my sister Angela (Haag) Wolcott-
This past Saturday night (March 18), I had the pleasure of seeing the Nordhoff High School Music Department's Production of Oklahoma! I was so impressed with this production, I feel compelled to recommend it to anyone who may be reading this. I grew up in Ojai, and went to Nordhoff High School. Although I did not graduate from Nordhoff (I transferred to a High School of the Performing Arts) it still feels like my alma mater. This production of Oklahoma! was extraordinary for many reasons. From the very impressive orchestra, to the production values, to the
students, it was a top quality production, and I hope you will go see it. (The Matilija Auditorium looks beautiful, by the way). I hope these kids know what a gift it is to have the opportunity to be a part of a production like this, and to have such strong support from the community. I know that this experience will be one they will treasure for a very, very long time. Each of these talented performers had an
opportunity to shine, it's just so much fun to watch. From Curly's (John Zatkowky) charm, to Laurey's (Mary Lukasiewicz) spunk and beauty, this was a great cast. Will Parker's (Garrison Harward) energy was
infectious and Ado Annie (Jackie Van Etten) was simply delightful. I was impressed with both Aunt Eller (Katie Kantrowitz) and Jud Fry
(Michael Ring), and their command of the stage. Ali Hakim (Aaron Gottesman) was a riot. The dancing and the singing ensembles were also very enjoyable. If you are able to get a ticket, I do hope you will go. As you leave the theatre, I am sure you will notice the grins on the
audience members faces, and the extra spring in their step. I am looking forward to the next production. Congratulations!

Matt, thanks for getting us this review and Ang, thanks for such a heartfelt account of the production. I'm going this weekend and hope to find out just what a surrey is and why there is a fringe on top!
